As much as her brothers love words, they don’t love stories- not the way Charlotte does. Anything can happen in a story- including getting lost in the woods! 

Journeying home she meets all sorts of new friends: a brother and sister following bread crumbs, a young maiden with really, really long hair, a magical fish that grants wishes, and a strange old woman in a house made of candy.
